Leading effective teams in post-production for HETV
Many people in post-production are promoted based on their technical skills, a significant majority receive no training in people management or leadership skills at all. This course, especially created for post-production professionals, aims to put that right with relevant, practical, supportive ideas and insights that busy team leaders and managers can put into practice right away.
Each course consists of:
- a pre-course questionnaire to help you reflect on your skills and needs
- a 5-hour online session which includes breaks and a lunch break
- individual one-to-one follow up mentor session to really support you in developing your team leadership skills.
This programme is funded by the ScreenSkills High-end Television Skills Fund made up of contributions from high-end television productions made in the UK.
Who it's for
This course is for department heads, those who already have direct reports or are leading a team working client side in post-production.
ScreenSkills is committed to supporting the freelance workforce and this course is for freelancers or those on short term contracts.
The course is open to those running post teams that service HETV.
Please ensure you can commit to attending the course. As you can imagine, schedules in post mean it is hard to fill places if you drop out at the last minute.
Please note that this is a participative course, not a webinar. You will need to have suitable broadband and be able to appear on screen to get the most out of the course.
We offer inclusive training. If you have any needs which we can accommodate during the recruitment process and beyond, please let us know and we will be happy to work with you to meet them. If you have any specific access queries, please direct these to Angela Law via email - angelalaw@everysense.co.uk
We always welcome applications from under-represented groups, including, but not limited to those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds; people with a disability; people from the LGBTQ+ community and those from lower socio-economic backgrounds.
