Are HODs and team leaders working in Animation and Children’s TV really getting the best from their teams, and addressing underperformance? Do they know how to deal with allegations of harassment or bullying? Or how to crew up effectively - and improve the diversity of productions while staying within the law?

Who it's for

This is for heads of department and managers on animated series or features, or on scripted and unscripted children’s TV productions.

We know that people are increasingly required to run larger teams and manage staff so this course is designed to help you to get the best from your teams and help address underperformance or bad behaviour.

Please note: The content of this training is not specific to animation or children's live-action, but by ensuring a cohort of attendees from these areas we hope to ensure more relatable examples and discussions from the group.

We also encourage participants to sign up to Disability awareness in association with thinkBIGGER! and Deaf awareness in association with Signpost Productions

Course modules will cover:

  • What is Leadership?
  • Team Dynamics & Personalities
