High-end TV sustainability coordinator training

The high-end TV sustainability coordinator training is your opportunity to transform your career into one that helps drive meaningful change in the industry.
Run by Sustainable Film, the leading agency in TV and film in sustainability, this course equips you with the skills and knowledge needed to become an industry sustainability coordinator.
This programme is funded by the ScreenSkills High-end TV Skills Fund made up of contributions from high-end TV productions made in the UK.
Who it's for
This course is designed for:
- scripted HETV assistant production coordinators
- scripted HETV production coordinators
- HETV unit managers
- HETV assistant location managers
We also welcome those with equivalent industry experience.
Please note this training is not for new entrants.

- albert carbon reporting and certification
- an overview of a sustainable scripted production
- legal obligations and compliance on set
- costs and savings from working sustainably
- the fundamentals of climate change
- politics, productions and people Interplay
- waste as a resource and the circular economy
- biodiversity and productions
- crew communication and engagement
The course will offer engaging reading materials and interactive learning techniques, culminating in an opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge at the end of the course

How to apply
This is a unique immersive learning course. You will experience a blend of remote sessions, in-person group training and interactive learning.
We ask that you ensure you can attend all sessions during this period before you make your application.
Week 1 - Monday 13 to Friday 17 Janaury 2025
These sessions are entirely remote, and whilst theys will be held live and are interactive, there will also be the opportunity to catch up at a time that is convenient for you. However you must have completed all training from week 1 before week 2 begins.
Week 2 - Monday 20 to Friday 24 January 2025
These sessions will be held at Sustainability Film's offices at Warner Brothers Studios Leavesden. This week will include site visits to key facilities and training sessions with experts in their specialist fields.
You will have the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry. Your expert tutors will include Sustainable Film’s team of in-house sustainability consultants, coordinators, and data analysts, alongside leading industry experts and suppliers.
