About
I am an American-British filmmaker and festival director living in Bradford, West Yorkshire. The owner of two media related companies, I'm passionate about film and accessibility of art. Film encompasses every aspect of my life, to the extent that I am also pursuing a part time PhD from the University of East Anglia in the subject.
I moved to England in 2012 after several years of working in and around the Hollywood industry, ultimately opting to follow an academic and independent path which led me to Bradford where I completed her masters. Since arriving in Bradford, I've fallen in love with Yorkshire and claims it as my adopted home. I dedicate her extra time to the reviving arts scene of Bradford, and contribute actively through my company CameraShy (www.camerashycic.co.uk) which runs film events and festivals.
I continue to pursue filmmaking as an "amateur", in this case meaning, "one who does it for love". Myself and fellow Bradford graduate Rachel Bottomley began Curiouser & Curiouser Media as a way to both pursue our own film projects and provide services to local businesses and artists. This allows us to chose projects which we find interesting or unique, and stories which fascinate us.
