Eloise Lally

Theatre Director, Maker and Founder of Eloise Lally Productions

  • Location: London
  • Career stage: Early
  • Freelancer: Available

I am a theatre maker, director and producer, with a passion for developing and working on new plays which will stand the test of time.

I have recently founded new London based theatre company Eloise Lally Productions and am reading work for production on Londons fringe next year. I have recently observed Katie Mitchell's production of Shadows: Eurydice Speaks at The Schaubuhne in Berlin and am inspired by the work of Caryl Churchill, Sarah Kane, Martin Crimp & Samuel Beckett, in continuing to ask: 'What is theatre?'

After graduating with a first-class BA from the University Surrey, I went on to study on the MA in Theatre directing course at Mountview Academy under Peter James CBE. Recent directing work includes: Whistleblower - The Story of Edward Snowden (OFFIE nominated for Best Direction, Waterloo East), The Tempest (Finnish production company Romulan Taiteellinen Teatteri, Finland), The Red Suitcase by award winning playwright Fiona Doyle (Southwark Playhouse), Superman & Me by Suzette Coon (Festival46, The Kings Head) and for the Ba Designers Showcase at Wimbledon College of Arts.

As Assistant Director: Magna Carta - The Freedom Game by Sir Richard Stilgo & Hannah Conway (The Royal Albert Hall) Dir. Karen Gillingham, The Notebook of Trigorin by Tennesse Williams (The Cockpit) Dir. Rebecca Frecknell.
