Manchester based Costume Designer, this year Laurie wrapped the feature length film Moment of Grace for old Hall Productions as well as several short films for BFI and upcoming production companies.

Laurie has also been a Maker in the workroom of BBC's Gallows Pole where the period was 18th Century. Though she worked across women's and children's wear she focused on menswear and principle leather garments. Prior to this Laurie was also a maker for 18th Century in the womenswear workroom for Outlander Season 6.

Laurie began her career in Theatre as a maker, predominately for the Royal Exchange theatre as a Tailors Assistant making period three piece suits as well as statement costumes for seasonal musicals. She then stepped into making for screen by working as a daily for adverts and TV shows such as SKY's The Rising and Intergalactic.

Laurie graduated in 2017 with a First Class Honours in Costume with Textiles from the University of Huddersfield.
