About
I’ve just joined the team at Erica Starling Productions in Belfast, working on ideas development. Previously I was a producer/director and AP for BBC Current Affairs for ten years, making programmes for Panorama, Spotlight, and three acclaimed films for BBC Three: My Weapon is a Dog, Mixed Up in the Middle East and I Never Said Yes.
I left the BBC in 2014 to complete an MA in Creative Writing at the Seamus Heaney Centre at Queen’s University. My tutors included Tim Loane and Jimmy McAleavey. I’m now developing a screenplay based on one of my graduate pieces; a fantasy drama about the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster. Next year my short story Vientiane will be published in the ‘For Books Sake’ anthology of new women writers.
