I’m a passionate storyteller who enjoys working on a variety of projects and meeting new people. I have been a writer, working in many forms and genres, for over 10 years. I started my out writing for music magazines and websites. Over the years I have had reviews, features and interviews published by the likes of Disorder Magazine, Virtual Festivals and IdeasTap.

From there I branched out into fiction writing working mostly on ideas and scripts for short films and music videos, several of which I went on to direct. More recently I was asked by a local restaurant to write them a Murder Mystery that could be performed as part of an evening event. I enjoyed this experience so much I have since gone on to write, and have performed, two more. I also attended a workshop at the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester that made me take my theatrical writing down a more formal path and in June of 2015 my short play St Peter’s Fields was performed at a local theatre.

Outside of my creative pursuits I work in the NHS as a Digital Communications specialist. This also involves a lot of writing and over the years I have written health awareness newspapers, eLearning modules and training videos. I’m also in charge of our social media presence and our website. Meaning I have a great deal of experience writing in different styles for different audiences and am adaptable in my approaches to working.
