About

DreamArts uses the arts to enable young people to unlock their potential

Our projects give members a safe place; somewhere they are empowered to explore who they are, make positive life choices, and build positive relationships. Projects support and encourage vulnerable young people and those at risk to deal with a range of difficulties they face growing up in the inner city - from family issues or problems in school, to experiencing sexual violence and mental health or learning difficulties. They may lack role models or struggle to find a voice to express complex emotions, but through DreamArts’ creative projects they become motivated and able to take on the challenges they face as they reach adulthood.

We empower and inspire young people to help them form stronger connections with each other, their families and build a greater sense of community. Our projects uncover and nurture their talents, whether in performance, multi media, or all-important life skills such as leadership and communication, with many going on to a career in the arts thanks to our links with London’s creative industries.
