Hi I'm Emily - I am a freelance Hair and Makeup artist, currently working at a Trainee level. I have recently finished working as a hair and makeup trainee on an episode for an Amazon TV series, and am currently available for work. 

I am a recent graduate of Southampton Solent University. I studied a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Hair and Make-up Design, and I acheived a 2:1 as my final grade. This course was three years long, and covered a wide variety of skills needed to work as a hair and make-up artist in the film, television and media industry.

I recently attended to London School of Barbering, and completed a NVQ Level 2 in Barbering, where I received a Distinction. I learnt a variety of skills during this course that is relevant to Hair and Make-up in film and television.

I also have experience working as a trainee in the crowd room on feature films such as Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Kingsman - The Golden Circle. 

From my previous work experience in the film industry I have learnt more personable skills that are needed for a trainee role. For example I feel that I have excellent communication skills, I am personable and friendly, I am a team player and love working with other people in a creative environment. I have worked days in the crowd room that have been very stressful, and I found that I work really well under pressure and thrive in a fast paced environment. From this experience I have also gained set etiquette skills, and I have also learnt how important confidentiality and discretion is in the industry. I have a passion for this industry therefore I am reliable, hardworking and flexible to wherever/whatever this job will require of me.
