I’m Aidan and my two main passions are music and film! I am a Glasgow based Sound Trainee. I Studied at University of the West of Scotland with a BA in Commercial Sound Production. I have worked on short films, television shows and feature films. Hoping to broaden my knowledge and find work in the Sound department as a Sound Trainee.

Can be based in Glasgow/Edinburgh/Dundee and willing to travel, with a full UK driving licence and practical experience on-set. Looking to advance a career with the film and television industry specifically in the Location Sound department.

I love recording and, since I record a lot of music, I thought I would try my hand at recording for film. I studied HND Sound Production at Jewel and Esk College Edinburgh, and gained my BA in Commercial Sound Production (Commercial Music) from The University of the West of Scotland.

My passion for this role was sparked when I undertook a month long intensive training course called JUMPCUT. This was delivered in conjunction with Creative Scotland, Film City Futures and Sigma films. It involved me being mentored by a professional sound recordist in order to fulfil this role the creation of a short film. The scheme also involved a week of training delivered by film and TV professionals, giving me an excellent insight into the industry as a whole.
