About
I am a costume trainee from The Northern College of Costume, searching for roles in television, theatre and film, where I can develop and fulfil my craft. I hold a full clean driving license and am willing to travel anywhere in mainland UK and Northern Ireland for an opportunity.
I enjoy a challenge; thriving in demanding environments, where my drive, initiative, creativity and conscientiousness shines through. My naturally calm personality, ability to adapt and upbeat attitude, means I bring a positive energy to any team.
Being a part-time maker, coincided with my 11-year career in the Telecoms industry, until early 2018, when I decided to pursue a full-time career in costume making. This came as a natural development, following a passion for complex garments and thirst for understanding construction that has followed me throughout my life, coupled with my love of high-end TV productions and films.
Most recently, I enjoyed time at Royal Exchange Manchester, assisting in the Wardrobe team with the production of The Producers and prior to this, Theatr Clwyd, where I aided the wardrobe team with the construction of Dame and other costumes in the panto.
I am eager to continually learn and develop in a career that I can truly enjoy and would love to hear from anybody regarding opportunities.
