I am looking to be an assistant editor trainee where I’d be able to work alongside and learn from other experienced assistant editors. After working as an assistant VFX editor at a VFX vendor, I am eager to move into the cutting room and expand my knowledge of the editorial department from a new viewpoint.

Working at Framestore has given me a good understanding of visual effects from an editorial perspective and I hope to integrate this into my learning as a trainee. I am a certified user of Avid Media Composer and have become highly proficient through using the program on a daily basis in my job.

I am attracted to both the combination of technical and creative skills that are required of an assistant editor and am committed to constantly improving them. I hope to have the chance to work in an environment where I could do this.
