I work as an Edit Assistant at ‘The Edit’ in Brighton; A post production house for television.
I have a passion for all things creative and technical. Working in film and television has generated many opportunities to flourish in many areas at all stages of production. My current position enables a wide range of skills to adopt and learn and with television changing continually, allows for each day to be unique and varied.

Online Assistant
Assisting with the online for 2 new series for ITV and Channel 4. Blurring items within shots following legal and compliance notes to protect identities etc

Edit Assistant
Ingesting footage ready for offline edits, assisting with general technical issues which may occur during the offline stage, conforming the picture locked cut to high res ready for the online process, finally delivering the finished cut to the channel

Third Assistant Camera/DIT
DIT on a small short film. Backing up footage via Shotput Pro so there are copies of the rushes.
