Elise Lamb is an emerging theatre director and writer based in London. She is a graduating student of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama’s MA Advanced Theatre Practice and is a recipient of the Ian Potter Cultural Trust Award, a professional development grant for emerging Australian artists. Prior to Central she trained as an actor at the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA) in Sydney, Australia. 

Elise is Founder and Artistic Director of The Roaring Ones, a new writing company with a focus on female narratives. Her debut play The Australian Girl, inspired by the life of Louise Mack, the first female war correspondent during WWI, is currently in development. 

She is also involved with Theatre 1880, a new writing company and collaborative platform formed by the front of house staff at The Old Vic.
