About

I’m an enthusiastic and diligent set designer/artist, seeking an entry-level position within a challenging and professional environment, to further develop my creative abilities, working on large scale productions at leading companies within the industry.

In 2018, I graduated from Nottingham Trent University, achieving a First Class BA Honours degree in Theatre Design. I have obtained in-depth knowledge of the process and principles of designing for a performance space, developed an excellent eye for detail and gained a broad range of skills including:

• Set and Costume Design
• Model Making
• Puppet Making
• Technical Drawing
• Sketching
• Storyboarding
• AutoCAD
• Adobe Photoshop and InDesign
• Scenic Painting
• Video and Film Editing

Since graduating, I have acquired valuable hands-on experience in various production contexts and companies within both film and theatre. Fulfilling the roles of stage technician and costume dresser for the Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre, the Birmingham Royal Ballet and Welsh National Opera productions. I’ve also acted as Director and Editor for two short indie films, and attended a number of courses, led by recognised practitioners, to further build upon my knowledge of the film industry.

I am a highly motivated, and hard-working individual, dedicated to providing outstanding, quality work. I’m currently looking for a company to collaborate with on imaginative and meaningful works and that will allow me to utilise and expand my artistic skills. Please feel free to get in touch or ask any questions you may have regarding my experience and qualifications.
