I was born in Champaign, Illinois, home of the Roger Ebert Overlooked Film Festival. I attended the festival annually growing up, which exposed me to all forms of cinema and sparked my interest in the craft from a young age. As a lover of various art forms, I realized that film is the most wonderful embodiment of all of my passions. I began working on sets from the age of 17, and have worked on a number of short and feature-length films as a costume intern, set costumer and set PA.

I am now an aspiring writer/director currently based in London and will be graduating with a Film Studies BA from Queen Mary University of London in July 2018. I am interested in creating unique and powerful films from lesser-seen perspectives. For example, earlier this year, I wrote and directed ‘Anyone’, a short film examining the societal pressures and norms which can contribute to sexual assault. I am currently seeking opportunities in the film industry, with a particular interest in getting onto as many sets as possible.
