Ashley Pearson is a London-based writer and director. Her work is narrative-driven, highly visual and meticulously crafted. Pearson specializes in opera, new work and reimagined classics. Her work has been called “bright and witty,” “dramatically mature,” and “all round brilliant.” She believes in fostering strong collaborative relationships with performers and challenging audiences — her work is unapologetically thought-provoking.
Ashley was Associate Director under Martin Constantine for the 2017 Opera Works programme at the English National Opera. She was recently the observing director on Les Vêpres Siciliennes at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
