Stephen is originally from Edinburgh and trained at The Arts Educational Schools, London.  He has directed productions in London and in the UK.

On stage, Stephen's credits covered several large scale productions, including the 2012 Olivier Award Winning (Best Musical Revival) Crazy For You (West End and Regent's Park Open Air Theatre), My Fair Lady (BBC Proms, Royal Albert Hall and Sheffield Theatres) and The Producers (West End). During this time he worked with directors such as Adrian Noble, Daniel Evans, Timothy Sheader, Susan Stroman, and Stephen Mear.

Stephen is a creative consultant to the St. Ives Theatre, Cornwall which was recently featured on the BBC in Comic Relief’s The People’s Strictly.
