Hi! I'm Demi, I'm 29 and I'm from Methil, Fife. I've worked in the Film & TV Industry for the last 7 years after graduating from Edinburgh Napier University & Screen Academy Scotland with a BA Honours Degree in Photography & Film (2011-2015). I mostly work in Glasgow, Edinburgh & Stirling and have also worked in London and abroad (The Netherlands, Spain & China). I currently live in Dunfermline, Fife with bases in Glasgow.
I've worked in a variety of roles across 3 major sectors of the Film Industry. A breakdown of which is detailed below!
In the High End TV & Film Drama Industry I've worked in the following roles: Runner, Floor Runner, Crowd AD, Talent PA, Art Dept Assistant, Production Runner & Production Assistant.
In the Short Film Industry I've worked in the following roles: 1st Assistant Director, Script Supervisor, Producer, Editor, Set Dec, Camera Assistant, & Stills Photographer.
In the Commercial, Corporate and Music & Events Industry I've worked in the following roles: Production Coordinator, Videographer/Camera Operator, Writer & Director, PD, Camera Assistant, & Editor.
I currently work across these 3 sectors, with my most recent work having been in High End TV & Film as a Production Assistant (Black Mirror 2022), Corporate as a Production Coordinator (Dewar's Whisky - Concept & Graft (2016-2022) and Corporate, Music & Events as a Camera & Edit Assist (Magician Kevin Quantum - Virtual Magic School 2023).
I am currently in the process of trying to enhance and branch my career into the Factual TV industry as I self practice Wildlife Filmmaking.

My hobbies and interests are as follows! :
conservation volunteering (Scottish Wildlife Trust, British Trust of Ornithology, Marine Conservation Society, Surfers Against Sewage, Fife & Tayside Raptor Monitoring), hiking & camping, foraging, theatre performing, painting & yoga.
I am registered diabled with ADHD and mental illness (Body Dysmorphia) and aim to create honest and open dialogues and acceptance within the Film industry for Neurodiversity and Mental Health.
