About
I’m a creative writer by background, but also a self-confessed cinephile, music lover, and techy. Indulging these interests over the years has left me with quite the mixed bag of skills like; writing, video production, photography, website design, social media, and graphic design. I like to say that “my real passion is for storytelling and I don’t like to be constrained by just one medium”… which is a great phrase to use if you want to sound pretentious at parties…. but it’s true!
I founded Hearne Creative in 2017 as a way to utilise the full range of my skills and interests. Since then, I have built a network of creative associates to turn “l” into “we” and worked with clients across the U.K. and internationally on some amazing projects.
These clients range from the NHS, to superyacht, marine, and nuclear industries, as well as business consultancies, manufacturers, recruiters, film festivals, restaurants, food and drink companies, and influencers! I’m proud to have created bespoke content to suit each of their individual needs.

Before founding Hearne Creative, I gained my First Class BA (Hons) English Literature and Creative Writing degree at Aberystwyth University, and undertook additional studies in Experimental Media Production. I also joined a Documentary Filmmaking project with the BFI alongside my studies, which helped develop my videography skillset alongside my writing.
In my spare time (although there isn’t much!) I run a blog where I occasionally write about life as a creative business owner. I cover topics such as business and (by far my biggest blogging obsession) FILM. You can read my blog at www.jessicahearne.com
If you would like to work with a highly creative and adaptive team, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
