I am an independent filmmaker and anthropologist based in Manchester and Berlin, and graduate from the prestigious Granada Centre for Visual Anthropology in Manchester, UK. I have lived, studied and worked in Germany, Turkey, Benin, South Africa and England and found my passion for documentary filmmaking when studying the MA Visual Anthropology in Manchester in 2015/16.
My film debut “Facing Fears” won the Engaged Anthropology Dissertation Award by the School of Social Science, University of Manchester. Through my films, I aim to explore the diversity of human experiences, especially women's, of being in the world.
