Irish playwright, based between London and the West of Ireland.

Graduate of NUI Galway with B.A. in English, Classics and Creative Writing (First Class Honours), the M.Phil in Irish Writing Programme at Trinity College, Dublin and the M.Res in Playwriting Studies Programme at the University of Birmingham.

 

• Shortlisted for Old Vic 12 Playwriting Residency (2016-17). One of the final 50 selected out of 700 applications.

• TheatreCraft Writer-in-Residence at North Wall Arts Centre, Oxford (April 2016).

• Writer-on-Attachment at Oxford Playhouse (2015-16).

• 503Five Resident Writer at Theatre503, London. (2015-16).

• 'The Minimum Requirement', public rehearsed reading at PlayWROUGHT Festival, Arcola Theatre, in July 2017.  

• 'Flight', staged reading of extracts, at North Wall Arts Centre, April 2016, and at Oxford Playhouse, June 2017.

• 'Blinkered', in-house rehearsed reading at Theatre503, September 2015.

• 'ELEXION', co-written with members of 503Five, performed at Theatre503, May 2015.

• 'People You May Also Know', short play written in response to 'Wink' by Phoebe Eclair-Powell; performed at Theatre503, London, in March 2015.

• 'Stammer', rehearsed reading of extracts at George Cadbury Hall, Birmingham, June 2014.

• Mad(e) in Hades, co-written with students on MRes in Playwriting Course, performed at Old Joint Stock Theatre, Birmingham, March 2014.

• 'Georgian Streets': performed at Outlet Festival, Birmingham 2013.
