Murat Akser is a film director woking both in the UK and Turkey. He had his formal training in filmmaking at Directors Guild of Turkey. He has directed music videos and short films for Ronin Media and Entertainment Inc. Murat Akser worked as programmer at Toronto International Film Festival and as coordinator at Canadian Film Centre. As a cameraman he worked in major Hollywood productions and he is a member of IATSE International Cinematographers Guild and Canadian Academy of Film and Television. He currently teaches film production and screenwriting at University of Ulster.He has several short films that have been to international film festivals and is developing his first feature..
