Playwriting: I am the winner of the 2010 Nick Darke Award and Pilot Theatre's 2012 Genration Zed Award.  Pilot produced and toured my play, Ghost Town, in early 2014, directed by Katie Posner.  My short monolgue, Female Fagin, was produced by DryWrite at The Bush Theatre (rehearsed reading) and by Dick Bonham for the Emerge / Script Yorkshire Script Night at The Carriageworks, Leeds. It was also livestreamed by Pilot Theatre, November 2011.

“Fisher's script… is bursting with clean lines and poetry. She is without doubt a compelling storyteller, which promises much for her future work.” Whatsonstage 4* review, Ghost Town.

From September 2012 to August 2013 I ran the York Branch of Script Yorkshire, an organisation that offers support, workshops and development opportunities to script writers.

Workshop Facilitation / Directing: I have over 12 years experience as a workshop faciliator and director, working primarily with young people between the ages of 10 and 21.  I have directed numerous Youth Theatre prductions; a mixture of scripted and devised work.  Companies I have freelanced for include Polka Theatre, York Theatre Royal, Riding Lights Youth Theatre and City of York Council.  I taught drama for a year at The Minster School, York.
