Design animation as training video explaining how the organisation can help budding filmmakers/writers overcome various barriers to entry eg competitive job markets, rejection etc; colour scheme suitable for neurodivergent audience. Recorded narration tied scenes together, under 2 minutes showing journey of two characters finding their place on professional editing suites and attending screenwriting masterclasses.

   Visually communicating to a wider audience in a simple, clear way about positive wellbeing resources such as the Yellow Book designed to signpost national support for emotional health. Combining onscreen lyrics, brand materials and other collaborators’ artwork to create promotional music videos. Editing/reusing brand template for competition launches every 2 years, altering copy for specific instructions and dates, encouraging public to contribute creativity eg writing poetry towards empowering wellbeing

4. Animator and Story Artist

   Conveyed collaborator’s darkly comic script reflecting on current trends in technology/society. Developed rough animatics into full colour sequences, edited to soundtrack. Created 3D city, overlayed with 2D characters and effects; troubleshooted graphic issues. Successfully completed 5 minute short film before festival season; selected for International Media Festival of Wales, and Birmingham Film Festival in October 2023.

5. Animator

   Developed a series of fun videos explaining the reliability of DECT as a wireless communications technology in daily life, eg sending health stats to doctors/nurses via DECT. Liaised with director to create simple yet visually pleasing, engaging presentations, adjusting character design style in order to complete 4 animated videos within 5 months, encapsulating experience of using wireless headsets in various public/private settings. 6. Editor

   Sleepy Magical Productions · Oct 2020 - Sep 2021

   Feature film involved actors in front of green screen on smartphones, edited in post-production by dozens of artists working remotely. Troubleshooted handful of scenes in timely manner; chroma keyed filmed footage, composited digital assets eg backgrounds, props and live actors together. Live-action/animated film successfully completed after 3 years; premiered on YouTube in December 2023, in aid of NHS Charities.

8. Animator

   Inspired to create animated trailer and channel bumpers, led to commission. Storyboarded a short sequence based on the series 10 key art in signature animation style, complying with feedback from team, delivered on brief and time within a month. Filmed interview for The Fan Show demonstrating process. Reached target audience through effective social media strategy involving fan-created content in lead-up to broadcast of series premiere.
