Stephen is an Oxford-based composer, director and creator of theatre. Born and bred in Cumbria, Stephen moved to Manchester in 2009 to study composition at Chetham’s School of Music, after which he took up a choral scholarship at Merton College, Oxford. Since graduating, Stephen has set up his own Oxford-based theatre company, Off the Page Productions, and co-founded a travelling Shakespeare company, The Three Inch Fools. His interests lie in aesthetics, Shakespeare, neo-noir film, musical theatre and folk. Directing / composing credits include: The Tempest (Three Inch Fools UK tour); Yesterday: A Musical in Three Halves (Burton Taylor Studio Oxford); King Lear (O'Reilly Theatre, Oxford); Wind in the Willows (St. Peter's College, Oxford); Arcadia (Oxford Playhouse, Oxford). Stephen is a member of the National Youth Theatre.
