About
I began a career in the retail sector upon leaving full time education, focussing on window dressing and in-store promotions as well as fashion buying for an independent high street fashion store in Kingston, Surrey.
I also ran a mobile DJ business catering for many events around the south of England in my spare time.
Following a move from London to Swindon, Wiltshire; I moved towards administration, team leading, innovation and project management for a well known financial organisation before being signed off with a chronic illness in 2009.
Due to the inevitable longevity of the illness I focussed on training and honing my design skills to eventually go on to build a home based Online Apparel Store selling my designs on printed t-shirts and other forms of substrate.
In 2013 I merged the business with my partner’s Holistic Therapy service to form Little Flower of the Prairie; Therapies & Gifts. I currently manage the online retail branch of the business selling hand crafted gifts and apparel with original, bespoke designs.
I have also created DEUP ~ Design.Decoupage.Upcycle - based in Swindon, Wiltshire; specialising in the ‘Upcyling’ of objects from Guitars, Sneakers and Stilettos to Small household furniture - To Upcycle; meaning to re-purpose and create something better and more valuable than the original form.
I am also available to hire via fivesquid.com by businesses and organisations big or small to create new logo’s, banners, eBook covers and more. Suffice to say, despite still managing illness around my work, I am a happy, though very busy man!
