Director, acting coach, musician, creator.

My focus is on people and story-telling, no matter the medium. Films, TV, theatre, video games: I have a passion for them all.

As a director and actor trainer, I have been working on my craft for many years. Since being a child, I have studied, performed in and directed theatre. After completing my A level in Theatre Studies with an A grade, I went on to study a joint BA undergraduate degree in Music and Drama at Royal Holloway, University of London where I received an upper 2:1 as my final mark. During this time, I directed an award-winning production of Harold Pinter’s “The Hothouse”. Now, I am currently undertaking a journey at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, where I am studying an MA in Actor Training and Coaching. My ambition is to be a Creative Director.

My current interests are: Brigid Panet, Michael Chekhov, Katie Mitchell, Anne Bogart, Konstantin Stanislavski (particularly the later period of his life), Augusto Boal, Rudolf Laban, Stella Adler, Peter Brook, Eugenio Barba and Jerzy Grotowski, all of whom influence my work. As well as this, I have trained in BTDA ballet, tap and modern jazz, and I am an experienced musician: these skills have a tacit impact on my work.

The actor’s craft is complex, and my aim is to provide theatre-makers with the tools to be able to engage with theatre in a sensitive, personal and critical way. My role is to help performers reach their potential and achieve their ambitions, and I love being a part of that journey.

An experienced musician, I took a special study of composition as part of my joint degree at Royal Holloway, University of London, and have composed pieces for orchestras, voice, septets, solo instruments and other small ensembles. I composed the music for a production of the play “The Orphan of China”, which played as part of a London festival.

As a performer, I play saxophone, where I received tuition at the Royal College of Music in London, as well as guitar, drums and I also sing. I have played as a part of bands, and ensembles as well as a solo performer.

As a writer, I have had my stage reviews published in "The Orbital" magazine, and I have also undertaken individual copywriting projects.
