About
I am an experienced director of documentary, drama-documentaries and short fiction who has worked for top production companies such as Lion Television, Wall to Wall and DSP on productions as varied as the award winning “Days that Shook the World” series, "Al Murray's German Adventure" for BBC4 and "Comet: A Great British Air Disaster" for Channel 4. Having started off my career in feature films in Spain and trained as an actress I am as happy working on drama as I am on documentary. Aswell as being a creative and visual film maker I am also a highly adept Producer.
I have recently started to Series Produce such as "Objects of Desire" a 6 part series about design for Sky Arts presented by Mariella Frostrop. I am also developing a feature documentary about a Yoghurt making factory in Spain run by schizophrenics.
I have maintained a high level of training throughout my career. Recently I took a Diploma in Creative Leadership funded by Skillset at Bournemouth University for which I was awarded a 1st. This course included three modules in managing creative people, intellectual property and media strategy. Prior to this I studied an MA in Screenwriting at Royal Holloway with a 2:1 and an MA in Film Production at Bristol University with a First. I am also a member of Bafta.
I am passionate about telling stories and hope to continue doing so for the rest of my life!
