Hi there!

I'm Emily, and if you're looking for a freelance theatre director with a mild tea addiction, I'm your girl. I specialise in new writing and make work that is cheeky, delicate and full of mess.

My most recent project, Border Control, has been performed at Roundhouse, Norwich Arts Centre,Theatre503 and Young Norfolk Arts Festival; and my production of TILT by Yuki Iwama was performed at Lyric, Hammersmith. In April I was chosen as one of three directors for the prestigious North Wall Theatrecraft Residency, and my work was showcased at the theatre's first ever Alchymy Festival of New Writing.

Other Recent work includes a three week revival of Bottleneck by Luke Barnes with a two week transfer to the Old Red Lion, and a selection of short plays by Matilda Ibini, Neasa O'Callaghan, Michelle Sewell, Gavin Whenmann and Reece Connolly. As an Assistant I have assisted Clive Judd, Lydia Parker and Benjamin Blyth.

Please get in touch if you're interested in collaborating or having a chat!
