I'm a writer, director from Dorset. I was Artistic Director for Vision Young People's Theatre Company and worked producing and touring work to schools and communities in Dorset. In 2010, I directed a critically-acclaimed production of 'What the Butler Saw', Joe Orton, I also began writing a new musical 'American Prayer' a coming-of-age tale set in 1960's America with a libretto inspired by the music of The Doors. At the same time I started working on the libretto for a Chinese musical love story 'Green Mountain' with composer Chas Dickie. In 2013 I won a place on the MA Dramatic Writing Course, supported by a bursary from Equity. At Saint Martins I have developed and expanded my craft as a writer for theatre, TV and animation. In 2015 my musical monologue 'Journey to the Gates of Dawn' (a piece that examines the breakdown of legendary Pink Floyd singer Syd Barrett) was staged for the Tristan Bates Solo Festival. I've recently graduated and now looking to get an agent and my work staged in London and Bristol.
