About
I've been working in Post Production for over 8 years and have a wide range of experience in many formats including short and feature length films, TVC's, promos and corporates. In that time I've acted as the Head of Post Production at a 30 person, multi-national production company and since moving freelance I've worked with large agencies such as McCann Erickson and ITN Productions as well as smaller ones like Salt.TV and Brand Brewery. I've been the lead editor and colourist on projects for clients such as Mercedes, Dove, DHL, Nestle and EE amongst others.
However my first love are narrative and dramatic projects and so far 2015 promises to be a breakthrough year as the short film Cephalopod (goo.gl/SQ0tDF) I edited had it's premiere at the Kino Shorts film festival in April and my first feature length film as colourist and online editor The Watcher Self (goo.gl/0UHx7R) is submitting to festivals around the world. This month I completed the offline edit on psychological drama Mile End (goo.gl/voU4md) my first feature length project as lead editor and a made for TV feature I assisted on is scheduled for broadcast on PBS later this year.
I'm highly skilled in all the major edit systems (Avid, Premiere Pro & FCP 7/X) and am also an experienced colour grader and mixer in Da Vinci Resolve, Pro Tools and other production apps. My aim is to be a highly efficient editor with a focus on narrative through visuals and mood. I have a strong team ethic and enjoy working with others as well taking on a leading role as a head of department. I'm a quick learner and love tackling new challenges with creative solutions because that's usually when making films is most fun.
