I am a 23-year-old aspiring cinematographer and recent graduate from the BA (Hons) Film Production course at the University of Portsmouth.

My experience in the camera department includes credits varying from trainee on a feature, to assistant and cinematographer/camera operator on short films, music videos and commercials. In addition, I have experience working as a technician in a kit room and have also practiced freelance photography for a few years.

1. Camera Prep Technician

   I am responsible of preparing and testing various combinations of high-end cinema cameras, lenses and accessories before they are delivered to our clients, meticulously checking the equipment once returned, as well as the maintenance of the entire inventory on the camera floor.

2. Trainee Kitroom Technician

   Shift 4 · Jul 2021 - Oct 2021

   My tasks included handling, stock-checking and testing camera, lighting, grip and sound equipment, interacting with clients and delivering kit in large vans in London and across the country.

3. Camera Trainee

   Covenant Film Ltd · Jan 2020 - Feb 2020

   My first experience on a feature film set, working as a trainee between two camera units shooting on location in the desert and at Atlas Studios in Morocco for 3 weeks. My main responsibilities were helping the ACs switch lenses, cards, filters, and batteries, prepping any rigs with the additional cameras on gimbals, setting up video village.

4. Promotions Assistant

   University of Portsmouth · Sep 2019 - Aug 2020

   My duties included managing the Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries' social media presence, helping with event organising (including an online graduate show), writing new articles for the Faculty blog, then distributed to all CCI staff and students in the fortnightly newsletter.

5. Photographer & Videographer

   I have taken high-quality photos and filmed commercial content for various brands, which were then used as promotional content on their websites and social media pages.

6. Intern Camera Operator
