I am a qualified teacher and director in Sussex. I direct and choreograph existing and new theatre productions both at fringe and commercial venues along the south coast.
I particularly enjoy off text improvisation and devising activities to enrich and support the production process and love finding new ways to present pieces of work for an audience.
Previous directorial work includes working for: BBC at Chichester Festival Theatre, Pavillion Theatre in Worthing/Brighton, Alexander Theatre in Bognor and the Windmill Theatre in Littlehampton. I also direct and choreograph annually the school productions in my current school. In 2009 I was awarded the Gabus Denny shield for direction by Brighton and Hove Arts Council for my production of Cold Comfort Farm and also received the Chairman's award for excellence in 2013 for my production of Animal Farm at the Barn Theatre in Sussex.
I am currently working on a production of 'the rise and fall of little voice' for the Barn Theatre in December
