I am a Devon and London based emerging writer. I am involved in writing and co-writing successful new material for fringe theatre. My strengths lie in comedy, physical comedy and farce and I have a particular interest in raising awareness around mental health issues. As an Oxford School of Drama graduate, I bring experience as an actor to my work, always aiming to create characters that breathe life into thought provoking stories. I teach creative writing workshops both privately and through companies, to writers at all levels in their careers. In 2007 I was approached by TR2 (Plymouth Theatre Royal) to be a supporting practitioner for teaching scene study. I was approached in 2014 by NSDF (National Student Drama Festival) to teach writing workshops for NSDF students. Following a recommendation, I was approached in 2016 by the Arcola Theatre to be part of their reading team for the Arcola PlayWROUGHT, providing feedback and recommendations for plays submitted to the competition. In 2010 I was one of the founder members of All The Pigs, creating and developing writing workshops, through our ‘First Time Writers Initiative’, successfully finding new writers and supporting their work and development through to performance. I fulfilled the role as literary manager, reading and recommending plays for production. In 2016 I became Artistic Director of All The Pigs.
