Alison Holder

Producer / Casting Assistant

  • Location: London
  • Freelancer: Available

I am currently producer of a one-woman production; Becoming which we recently staged a rehearsed showing after a week’s residency at the Arcola Theatre. I am also assistant producer for Orlando Gough’s a capella group The Shout, who recently reformed and performed at the Tete-a-Tete Opera Festival at Kings Place. These positions are allowing me to utilise my previous experiences where I can bring my calm, detailed and efficient approach to work.

I started my career in theatre at the Almeida Theatre under the artistic directorship of Michael Attenborough. Whilst there, I supervised the box office team and in addition worked with the Projects department on workshop activities within the local community and also as an ASM on The Silent Twins opera production. Moving on from the Almeida to the Young Vic, I was Box Office Supervisor, where I again also collaborated in community workshops with the Two Borough’s team. I then spent several years overseeing Radio Drama, Voice Over and Audio Books at Markham, Froggatt & Irwin actors’ agency. I am now also a freelance Casting Associate, working most recently at the National Theatre and Tate Modern.
