I'm an ex Royal Marine working as a 2nd Assistant Cameraman or Loader in Film & Television with the aim of advancing through the ranks of the camera department, building a network of friends and colleagues and utilising my skillset to contribute what I can to an already thriving industry. 

I started my journey in 2015 doing all sorts of unpaid work in various departments of film, all the while aiming to break into the camera department. In 2017 I got the opportunity to work as the B camera trainee on Vera 8 for a number of dailies and that role became the catalyst that started my career. I started loading in 2020, shortly after the lockdowns eased off and I've been working consistently ever since.

My next goal is to become one of the highest qualified and sought after clapper loaders in the country in both digital and analogue formats so my focus now is on maximising my technical and my leadership skills. Once I've made that footing I'll take the next step. I've wanted to be in this industry since I was a child and I've already taken so much from the experience, met some amazing people and I can't wait to see what else this lifestyle has to offer.
