About
I am a passionate maker and an Art enthusiast. I achieved a BA in Painting and have gone on to do sculpture which turned out to be one of my interests and my passion. It became natural to me to explore other areas of sculpture and took on other courses to learn about the moulding and casting process and fibreglass. I did a few workshops and achieved an FdA in Prop making and special effects. This course has taught me immensely about the varieties of moulding and casting from silicone to jesmonite to fibreglass, plaster and more. I have achieved other skills such as welding, metalwork, woodwork, polycarving, painting and finishing, model making, foam fabrication and more. Throughout my work experiences I have gained more knowledge and training in various set companies learning scenic art, foam fabrication and small props. I have then gone onto produce work for Shrek Worlds Adventure at Footprint Scenery and then plastizote work for Plunge creations. My skills are transferable, I love learning about various processes in prop making and scenic art and I work to become an expert in this field. I love working in a team as it allows me to learn and collaborate with other professionals. I am dedicated in what I do and am prepared to work long hours till projects are in completion. I am dedicated, hard-working, reliable and passionate about being a part of the industry.
