About
I have been recording location sound for feature films, drama shorts, web series and other online content for 6 years now. I also edit, clean up, design and mix sound for post production. The most recent feature that I have worked on both as sound recordist and post-production sound editor/sound designer/dubbing mixer is called The Gatehouse. It was screened twice at Raindance London in 2016 and shown at BAFTA, and I have since remixed it into 5.1 surround for the Berlin Film Festival and Cannes.
My location sound kit includes a Sound Devices 664 mixer/recorder, a Schoeps SuperCMIT digital shotgun mic, a Sennheiser MKH50 supercardioid mic, 2 Lectrosonics radio mic kits, a Sennheiser radio mic kit, 3 Sanken COS11-D lav mics, a 5-metre Panamic boom pole, a DPA5100 5.1 surround mic, 2 Sennheiser MKH416 mics
I have bases in Middlesbrough, Aylesbury and Portsmouth. My home studio (in Aylesbury) runs from a MacBook Pro with Cubase Pro 8.5, Pro Tools 12, iZotope RX5 Advanced, Waves plugins and Genelec 5.1 surround monitors.
