About
Hi there!
My name is Kasia and I consider myself to be a highly motivated, hardworking and reliable camera trainee (or, aspiring trainee!) who is committed to working with and attending to the needs of the camera department on film productions.
I am confident with industry standard camera equipment, as I have gained rental house experience with cameras such as ARRI Alexa, Mini, Amira, Sony Venice, RED Scarlet, Monstro, Dragon or smaller cameras Sony FS7, Sony FS5, Sony A7S II. I am also proficient and have experience in trainee-related tasks such as charging batteries, cable wrangling, handling lenses and setting up teradeks, monitors and tripods.
My current camera bag includes the following: 1 red and 1 yellow roll of gaffer tape and a marker pen..... (I am planning to buy more soon I promise!)
As an art buff, I love and am inspired by artists such as Van Gogh, Edward Hopper and Monet and in my spare time enjoy taking photos of architecture as well as portrait photography- please enjoy some of it below or check out my website for more: https://kasiaserafin.wixsite.com/work
With my barista background and meticulous training, I must say I make a spectacular cup of coffee, ''London's finest'' to quote one customer in particular. That being said, he did mention he was ''here on vacation''.
I am currently at the beginning of my filmmaking journey and am actively searching for new ways in which to learn more about the mechanics of cinema and how I can put both my creative and technical knowledge to practise.
