Gorton Studio is directed by internationally acclaimed and multi-award winning prosthetics designer Neill Gorton. It was the first specialist school of its kind in Europe and has led the way in teaching the subject since 2003.

We train beginners for careers in the industry, help professionals improve their skills, support teachers in delivering industry-relevant courses and provide bespoke modules for universities and colleges as part of wider curricula. Our students come from all over the world, and their success upon leaving us stands testament to the quality of our teaching.

Neill is a high profile industry figure with a 30+ year track record, and our courses embody the outstanding technical standards for which he is renowned. He is also founder and co-director of leading industry company Millennium FX. As a long-term employer he knows exactly what’s expected of the creative staff in today’s industry and translates this into the content of our courses.

Our teaching is intrinsically linked to the industry through Neill, our close association with Millennium FX and our tutors who are all current, senior industry artists. Our prescribed courses are between 3-days and 7-weeks' duration.
