Born in London in 1990, Hakim grew up in East London before moving to France at a young age to study for 8 years. This later encouraged him into Translation Studies at Middlesex University on his return.

He is from a mixed North African and European background and is fluent in English, French and Arabic. This facilitated his travels which in effect influenced his style of dance. Hakim started with Breaking, then went on to studying many other styles such as House and Hip-Hop whilst discovering many others such as Popping, Contemporary and even Capoeira.

Besides his solo work and various talents he is a proud member of RainCrew, which is foremost a Breakdancing Crew and also BirdGang an established HipHop Company. Both are internationally renowned and continue to grow.
