Becky is a freelance theatre director currently based in Edinburgh and working throughout the UK.

Becky trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, during the course she worked on projects at Shakespeare's Globe, The Arches, Oran Mor, The Cockpit and for London-based company, Action to the Word. She has since worked with internationally acclaimed theatre company, Vanishing Point, on their project Tomorrow and completed a residency as Trainee Director at the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh. Her Assistant Director credits with the company including new writing pieces Union (Tim Barrow), Kill Johnny Glendenning (DC Jackson) and modern classics Bondagers (Sue Glover) and Faith Healer (Brian Friel), Hedda Gabler (Ibsen).

More recently, Becky was Associate Director to Phillip Breen for the York Minster Mystery Plays 2016. 

As well as assisting on larger scale projects, she founded new writing company, Thrive Theatre, which has been in existence since 2012. They have produced sell out shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and have transferred to the Traverse Theatre with their work supporting emerging playwrights.

Her recent directing credits include Macbeth (Lyceum Theatre, Edinburgh), The Cameo (DC Jackson and Kieran Lynn) for Oran Mor, It Never Ends (Cumbernauld Theatre), workshops for Playwrights Studio Scotland and SDTN. In 2015 Becky was on the panel for the Short Play Award 2015.
