Jonell Rowe is a London based Actor, Writer and filmmaker, who started out in the arts when in 2008 he auditioned and successfully got into The Brit school of performing arts. During his 3 years there, Jonell studied and developed a variety of skills and styles in Drama, writing and directing for both stage and screen. Outside of Brit he continued to push and expand his knowledge of the creative arts, by getting involved with both theatre and film production companies such as Southwark playhouses Young company YOCO, Livity and YCTV film productions.

His 3 years of studying at The Brit school culminated with him graduating with a level 1 and 2 BTEC national diplomas in performing arts and Directing and also resulted in him performing in a stage production at Edinburgh fringe festival in 2011. Since leaving Brit, Jonell went on to do a writers course at the lyric hammersmith theatre in 2013 and along with other creatives founded Lionstooth Productions, with whom he has produce, directed and written various film projects, His last short film E.D.D, A 15 minute psychological fantasy drama, was critically praised for it’s surreal narrative and in depth characters. In 2015 E.D.D went onto be screened at the Shock wave cinema in Bermondsey, The Strive film festival at Southbank and finally the Cannes short film corner.
