I graduated from The Northern Film School (Leeds Beckett University) in 2015 achieving a 2:1. Departing university i knew i wanted to continue to work on films, tv and theatre, more spefcificly within the art department. I like the freedom of creativity within the art department, the attention to detail and the responsibilty that sets, props and colours can bring to a certain scene or genre of film.

Since leaving i have done work on a number of low budget short films, feature films and music videos. I find working and learning is the best and quickest way to improving my skills and knowledge. I enjoy the property master role because of the practical and hands on approach, but find working alongside a strong team to get the job done makes me a stronger person and no detail, is too small. 

I would love to continue working within the Art Department until i have enough knowledge to move up to property master, but i am more then aware that i may need to work more as a runner in order to network and get myself noticed. I am building my kit more each production, but i believe the more i do before commiting fully to property master, the better i can perform when the time comes.
