About
Hi, there.
My name is Anlieka Kursiani Marconi (born February 22nd, 1992) and I am filmmaker.
I am a dreamer and storyteller at heart, and my greatest wish is to share these dreams and stories with the world. I think film is a wonderful means for storytelling.
I am currently a Postgraduate student in Digital Film and Television Production at the University of York, where I am gaining practical experience and am developing my technical skills. Together with my background in film theory and film analysis (my undergraduate at the University of Amsterdam) I hope to make interesting, complex, thought-provoking and moving films. My aim for this year to have a short film at the end of the summer to send to film festivals all over the world.
Collaborations and interesting projects are things I am always looking for and I love to explore things outside of my postgrad program.
My work is mainly influenced by Sofia Coppola, Wes Anderson and most other filmmakers of their generation. There is a certain honesty about their films that deeply resonates with me and has now become a profound source of inspiration.
