Sam has worked on several independent short films as a composer and is now available as a sound trainee / sound assistant for High End TV & Feature Film productions.
Following the production of recent ‘Rivera’ international short film, ‘Love From Santiago’, for which Samuel was Sound Recordist as part of a skeleton crew, he is making his incision into location sound and promises some exciting new releases in due course.
His love for collaboration and building location recording environments has brought him to work at the likes of Abbey Road Studios, St. Pancras Old Church, BBC Scotland, The Barbican and The Southbank Centre's Queen Elizabeth Hall to name a few.
He first discovered his passion for sound in studios such as Brit Row and Neighbourhood (home to UK band 'Athlete'), sowing the seeds of his craft at the prestigious BRIT School, then growing roots at Goldsmiths University Of London, where he honed his skills in orchestration, arrangement and sonic art techniques.
Having spent the last year liaising with HoD’s whilst working at ScreenSkills itself as an administrator, Sam is growing his network and knowledge base and is determined to learn more about RF, timecode and sync in High End contexts, building trust within sound teams and extending his chances of working on location abroad and locally.
