Amy Warren

Movement Director & Physical Performer

  • Location: London
  • Career stage: Entry
  • Freelancer: Available

- Graduated 2015 from the University of York with a 1st class honours in Writing, Directing and Performance.
- Founding member and Movement Director of Mind Over Matter Theatre Collective, including productions 'A Matter Of Love' at Camden and 'On Ego' at Zoo venues at the Edinburgh Fringe.
- I have been working as a movement director with the company for two years and am hoping to expand my experience and knowledge in this field. I am particularly interested in the collaberative elements of theatre, and the key knowledge that all roles can learn from each other. I am interested in all aspects of movement on stage - this can range from highly stylised physical theatre, to simple aspects of developing a character's body language and physical presence. I am passionate about working with other creative people and hope to continue learning and forming my own way of working in the theatre industry.
