Michael is a director and theatre-maker based in Manchester. After studying at the Jacques Lecoq School of Theatre in Paris he founded the company Square Peg Theatre - a nationally touring theatre compnay that create bold, original work and reimagine classic text by combining beautifully choreographed physical theatre with compelling character driven stories. 

Michael is a freelance director and movement director. He was recently awarded the JMK bursry to work with ANU Productions on their co-production with HOME theatre Manchester On Corporation Street.

Michael is also an experienced teacher and workshop leader specialising in movement, regularly teaching at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA).
